Dropped output on TS

A rather odd problem has developed with my TS88. When playing and I reach a certain velocity level or key pressure level, the output completely drops out. The odd thing is that it's not limited to the internal sounds. It is carrying over to the MIDI'd synths I'm using as well. Has anyone experienced this?
