This is driving me insane: I cannot for the life of me get my PadKontrol to transmit its CC messages. That is, i cannot get my xy pad and the two knobs to control anything except pitch bend. I have been all through the manual and scoured the internet looking for some help on this, to no avail. I'm fully aware of how to assign the different messages to the xy and knobs. The trouble is in the DAW's i use, absolutely nothing happens. For example, I assign pan to the y axis (either through doing it through using the setting button and scrolling to cc 10, or by holding y and pressing pad 11), and yet there is no response in the DAW nor change in sound when i test it out.
I use Ableton Live and Reason. All that I can do is pitch bend. No pan, no reverb, no volume control, etc, etc. This is one of the primary reasons i bought the PadKontrol.
If there is anyone who as any idea what the problem is, or can even point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it.

CC and the Padkontrol
If you want to control any parameter in Live, you just right-click it (ctrl+m) say panneling, then rotate a knob (alternatively touch the pad), close midi map mode (ctrl+m) and you're done.
I use this method with the default scene #01 KORG Standard Kit 1 (the one that is on when you turn the padkontrol-unless you edited it.).
I also assume you have installed drivers correctly and set up padkontrol in Live right: check PadKontrol input A under midiports, for "Track" and "Remote" -both should be ON).
hope that helps.
