I suspect that the cdrw drive is an IDE drive as the internal hard drive is.

I wouldn't know if the Triton would work with a blank hard drive inside or if you can copy the partition info from the old hard drive into a larger one, but this giude should be interesting.

Done, finally yesterday i receive the parts and i have a ruffly test and...It work, tonight i will take the last pictures and the last tests...

I was plannig different options ( up to ten) but now i use the Cheapest, easiest and reliable one!

Yes it is a 2,5" ide Hard drive, originally i would try to create a plug for use the Cd-rom JAE connector, but find JAE connectors is almost impossible, and if you ask to build one for you it cost around 95 bucks!

So now with less than 20 australian dollars we will have a USB port directly connected to the Hard drive so you can plug a USB cable to the Triton Studio and see the Hard drive such as an external drive where you can make backups or uploading with or without powering on the Triton studio.

So, I need just to have a final check.
see u soon

I really sorry guys but all this time i was extremely busy on developing my company (i'm an entrepeneur).

Sorry again.

By the way the korg triton studio has a scsi internal but the HD is a normal IDE Hard drive connected thru a SCSI to IDE to the hard drive.

Tecnically is easy to replace.
