Pa800 and Pa2x Styles - Master Songbook Index

Post by mrniceneasy »

Hi everyone. I 'volunteered' to create a Database for the Bonusware Styles on korgpa using the Songbook for pa as a repository of links to all the styles for further editing by the User. I have arranged the styles into 10 Favourites Banks and 3 User Banks. This now effectively give the pa user access to a Total of 800+ styles on the pa including the Factory styles for registration in the Songbook feature when the styles are loaded. The Banks [in alphabetical order] are in a Custom page in the songbook called 'Korg Project' ...

The files can be downloaded here:

Hi Keith,

Thank you again for what I know has been a lot of work for you in the last 24 hours to do this. Your work is a huge benefit to Pa800 and Pa2x owners.

Please everyone, create a backup copy of any user styles on your Pa800/Pa2x before you load this mammoth set put together by Keith. He has integrated every available bonusware style from the KorgPa web site into a single SET which will fill all Favorite and User style banks, thereby deleting anything you may have stored there already!!

Best regards,
Rob

Hello Keith,

KORG was earlier called by me as the "community of Gods" in point of the OPERATING SYSTEMs for PA-Series Keyboards.

... From now on it seems to be, that you also have climbed up in the
OLYMPIC - REGIONS of "GODs" in concern with SONGBOOKs and STYLEs !!!

I've just downloaded the files and its really hard to expect the
end of working day "quitting - time" and turn on the PA800 with your SET in the evening
... may be the complete WEEKEND is salvaged !!!!

Many grateful thanks
from TBLECK

Hi Keith, thanks so much for doing this. Are these all the bonusware styles?

I looked at the songbook in the Editor. Why are there 8 Songbooks? BANK01 thru BANK08?

Best wishes

Graham

Hi Graham. All the files are in the songbook. I think sbedit only allows a certain number of entries in one bank and that's the reason why only 8 Banks. Just a coincidence that they are called Banks the same.

Here's all the Bonusware that I could fit into the pa Banks. Virtually all I think....

Bonus Collection - Letusa 1/2/3/4 - Piano Styles - Styles Volume 1-15 -
The Blues Brothers - Korg -De - Partyhit - Sound_Co - VA76 /96 Styles...

:)

Hi Thomas. You are so kind in your Comments. Everything was already there. I just put it into a logical format. Hope you get to spend SOME time with the family this weekend. Don't wish to upset them :D

Are all these only styles, or there are some new sounds as well?

I think that I --and other members of the Korg community-- are very fortunate to have you provide all that wonderful help and support in enhancing our enjoyment of the Korg PA family of instruments.

Hi George, thanks for your very generous comments.
Most everything that I've learned about pa has been through the help freely given on this very Site :)

Hi Keith
I downloaded the zip file of bonusware styles from your link but both Windows and Winzip report the file as invalid. I presume this has to be unzipped prior to loading on the PA2X?
Any clues?
Kind regards
Bruce

Hi Keith
Re my previous message I've just noticed the size of the file was 284kb whereas your original was 4.20mb so obviously Windows didn't download the complete file which was why it wasn't recognised.
Apologies.
Kind regards
Bruce
