I bought a padKontrol in February and mailed in the form immediately to get the Kontrol Pack 3 software, but it still has not arrived.
They said 6-8 weeks, but it has been about 16 weeks and nothing has shown up.
I'm just wondering if this has happened to anyone else. Since I don't own any soft synths, my padKontrol has seen very little use. I was really looking forward to the "UVI" software with "800 MB of drums sounds".
Is this software worth bugging Korg to get? How limited are the versions of Reason and Live that are included?
This is a user forum so we can't answer the question.
The versions of software included are limited but they give you something to use. Also, you can normally upgrade to the "full" product at a cheaper price.
Finally, you should be able to use the padKONTROL with any product that accepts midi including any hardware synth. Do you have any keyboard that has a midi input port on it (so you could connect the padKONTROL midi out to the midi in of your keyboard)?
You should have checked it at the shop you bought it
I Actually have the 2nd version of this pack witch was included
You should at least have that one (It should have been in the box
so the smartest thing to do is complain at your dealer ...
If he does not fix the problem bring the product back and take your money to a dealer that has them in stock with Kontrol Pack 3 already in the box
