Hello everyone

Post by Technition »

Can I please have some kind of help. I am a owner of a korg pa80 I tried loading some styles unfortunatly some had bugs. I tried to restart the keyboard the the screen wouldnt go through. It froze at the last display. I called a buddy of mine and he told me it might have to do with the operating system. I have been looking all over for the newest operating system. I cant seem to figure out ways to load it as well. I have a gig around the weekend and I need help badly. If someone has any idea I would appreciate it.

Thank you

Hi There

the latest operating system for the PA80 is version 3.06 available from http://www.korgpa.com/pa_root/en/extra/ ... 80.html?en

remember to do a backup of your user data before loading it, instructions are in the download.
Regards

Mick

Try to erase internal SSD disc.
I think , press FADE IN/OUT and turn on keyboard. Next reinstall system and restore resource data. Use only original factory resource data .

I have had a similar problem (on a Pa50) but for me an oscillator had burned on the inside. I had to had the oscillator replaced. What happened to me was that when I turned the keyboard on, none of the buttons were responding. I could not press ENTER to go into the floppy to re-install the OS. I also could not get all the other shortcuts mentioned above to work either (like Fade In/Out, etc). Hopefully for you it is not an oscillator and just an OS problem!!!!
