Rule of thumb, if it looks too good to be true, it most certainly will be, and this is no exception. Definate scam. Picture is taken from this legit ebay auction

Do you even need to ask if its a scam!!Ebay is bad enough but I would steer well clear of any private ads that have little if any policing or control of the activities that go on,almost as bad as Gumtree!!!
If you want to see if any of these Oasys sellers are genuine use this rule of thumb.
Ask the seller to edit a Combi or Program name, and edit the name to write their Username/ID or your name on the screen and or the Date and ask them to take a picture of it and send it to you.....(I posted this in another topic about Oasys scams, pledging any sellers of their Oasys to do this when they take the Photos,as it also stops scammers lifting Photos from past Ebay sales and passing them off as genuine sale on another scam which goes on with almost anything)
Your request if answered and actioned(which would normally be within the scope of a genuine seller If perhaps welcomed with a little humour)will answer any doubts!Aways worked for me if I ever had any Doubts with buying Synths on Ebay

Many scammers out there to beware of. I have replied to a few on e-bay and Craigslist.......just to wind the scammers up to be honest.
Firts off, the scammer's English is usually poor and they do not understand jokes or puns.
Even though they will state that the item on offer is in the Country stated, they will usually say that they are out of the country at the moment and some third party is handling the sale. They will ask you to wire transfer money to the third party agent who will (supposedly) release the item for you to try but only release the transferred money to the seller when you indicate that you are happy with the item....
Easiest way to spot/stop the scam is to offer cash on collection. The e-mails always stop as soon as you insist on this.
And as other posters have said, if it sounds too good to be true then it probably is.
Ray.
