KORG MR1/1000 HARD DRIVE FAULT

Post by artsonics »

It may be possible to cause damage to these units by simply running batteries low AND thereby causing the device to incorrectly power off.
I would like to hear from Korg on this but still waiting. They may be able to repair these units with new eprom but at what cost and any warranty or assurance this problem would not re- occur at any time after?

thanks for the warning... kinda on the same topic, aren't you supposed to "train" the battery so it lasts longer, like a cell phone, by running it all the way to the end of its supply? doesn't this problem prevent you from doing that, and is there a work-around?
