Master fx to Main Only?

Post by Unknown Sound »

Has anyone else noticed you can only route the Master fx to the main outs not the indv outs?

Insert fx are fine.

Odd.

its because master effects are summed back with the main bus. when you 'send' something to an MFX the original signal carries along the bus too. the MFX wet/dry control doesn't actually have any dry passthrough, it just controls the output level of the effect.

Just like the effects sends in a mixer.

edit:
sorry, for a moment I was thinking that you were talking about a triton-series keyboard.

The 'Master Effect' is actually more like a 'Total Effect', on the M3/M50, it applies to everything on the master bus.
I think it may have been nice to have a better effects routing system, like on the triton and M series, but it wasn't to be....
