Upgrade hard drive.
Hi, guys!
I am thinking of upgrading the hard drive in my triton studio.
What's the size limit that the BIOS on the triton studio can detect?

The BIOS has nothing to do with it. It will accept up to 2TB, not that you will find a 2.5" Drive that big.
Over the years on the forum a number of people installed 160MB IDE drives.

Thanks for letting us know.
250GB is probably the largest I've seen anyone install so far.

Just in case anyone needs to know...
My Triton Studio did not seem to be able to partition the hard drive. It hung on formatting and when I connected the hard drive to the computer, there was no partition on the hard drive.
So I used a Windows 98 bootdisk to partition and format the hard drive and it works fine now.

No, only FAT 16 has that limit, you need to format the drive to FAT 32, not NTFS.
