Question About MIDI

Hi to all

Could you some one help me with following matter

I want to change the MIDI channel on the pa2x with STS or performance on the other word because I want to use the VST when I play my pa2x with style and for example in the middle of song I want to use just the VST sound without the pa2x uppers and lowers so in this case I need to set a setup like STS or performance but in this two feature
I can’t save the deferent midi channel for different STS or performance dose any one has experience on this case? And how should I set the STS or performance or something like that in this case?

Hi mrk2003

I sometimes like to play my Korg Karma keyboard from my PA2XPro (just using UPPER 1) - I created my own PA2XPro SOUND and called it "KARMA" - this sound is set to silence in the oscillator, so when I select it effectively turns local OFF for just that track - I can then play my style, and the UPPER will play whatever I have selected on my Karma keyboard - this way I can also control the Karma sound with the PA2XPro joystick, aftertouch etc..etc.. Obviously, my Karma MIDI channel is set to MIDI channel 1 to match the PA2Xpro "UPPER 1" MIDI channel.

If the "Style-play" MIDI set up on the PA2Xpro does not suit you, you can change it (see p 228 in the latest PA2Xpro User Manual)

There may be an easier way but this works well for me.

Thank you very much for your answer I checked the page 288 in manual about MIDI but I couldn’t find anything to help me about this matter
I need some future that I will be able to send program change message from PA2X to Sonar program with STS or Performance or something like that then I can switch between the different VSTs
