Hey guys, I just got my new Korg Electribe EMX1 today, I also own an MS2000 (which I've had for like a year now). I'm just curious: Is it possible to use the EMX1 as a step sequencer for my MS2000? (I didn't get the electribe specifically for this, but it would be really nice to combine them both).
Plus, while we're at it, I have a KP3 to which I've connected a mini 3 channel mixer so that I can hook up all sorts of things like a voice recorder, kaossilator, etc. How would I make the most of an EMX1/KP3 combo? Because I've heard good things of using both units together. Thanks fellas.
An MS2000/ Electribe EMX1/ KP3 question...

Yes - plug a MIDI cable from the EMX1 out to the MS2000 in. In global mode set the MIDI channel of one of the EMX1's keyboard parts to match the MS2000. Disable MIDI filters on both devices. Is it possible to use the EMX1 as a step sequencer for my MS2000?
That should do it.
The MS2000 has MIDI thru so you could connect another MIDI cable from it to the KP3's MIDI in - that would enable the EMX1's Clock to keep everything in time. I'd plug the EMX1's individual audio outs into the KP3 but it depends on what you want to do.How would I make the most of an EMX1/KP3 combo?
