The only other thing that raises a concern is the limitation here:
96 ticks / quarter note resolution (real-time recording)
Now does this mean that it will not record a sample faster than 1/4 note? I will not be able to capture a triplet, or 32nd?

And what about playback resolution? Will it get distorted or glitch if again I attempt a beat beyond 1/4 note?

And of course I am puzzled as to why there is no mention of the effects? there are FX controls on the device but nothing printed on the device about what effects, chains, how many...Maybe this is still under review or no body has finally decided on effects yet...I don't know. But at $600 I surely hope that Korg does replicate the effects features of the rare triton extreme and allow for an effects chain of up to 7 effects at the same time (6 effects chained and 1 post effect). That would make this box a total winner and usable to just about any type of musician out there.

I'm confident you will buy this, judging from your kit list

It's actually very sensible for road use - no sheared off knobs when chucked in the back of a wagon - I think Korg are trying to address consumer complaints about flimsy controls.

Cheers, graham
