R3 Carrying case

Post by RandalE »

I know this has been brought up in the past but has a decision been made as to the best carrying case for the R3? :)

Korg really should include bags with their keyboards...

i don't understand the logic in not doing so...

whatever i guess...

best of luck in finding something adequate...i no longer have my R3 since im getting the Radias instead...

so now im going to need a case for my Radias...those "Nord G2" bags are suppose to fit great for the R3...

however...who wants to pay roughly $100 just for a stupid bag...assuming you even find one

Thanks for the input Critica1. Appreciated.

Has anyone found the Gator or Musicians Gear bags to be good quality?

I haven't found a Gator case that fits at all. I looked recently and thought that one of the Peli rifle cases would be fantastic, but unfortunately at over £200!

I bought my R3 something more than a year ago, and one guy brought this bag to my attention

I bought it and couldn't be happier. Trust me, you can't go wrong with it.
The Nord G2 is precisely the same size as the R3, it fits perfectly. It has a nice fur padding on the inside, a big pocket for your power supply, and can be used in 3 ways for carrying: you have 2 shoulder straps for putting it on your back like a backpack, one long strap to carry it over one shoulder and a short handle-strap to carry it in one hand.

Looks like they've upped the price a bit. But yeah, I've been trying to tell everyone here to get this bag for their R3 because it's well worth the wait and money. Extremely light weight, but thick enough to toss around your R3 anywhere. It's been through many trips to practices and gigs in a car trunk bouncing around with other equipment, yet the R3 is still in mint shape.
