hi there, hope everybody is well and having good time at this holidays.a friend of mine who is a christian musician has this keyboard for along time, came to me with this problem: he said it started with some buttons around the display not working, so he disasembled it, and foundit had some plasticsealed and he tore them out , cleaned the contacts and put some melted plastic back. after that found another button not working and changed the smallswitch, he should have stoped ther or come to ask, but he kept going; next i dont know why he says he sprayed the whole thing with silicon contact cleaner and there it went worst, the display did blackout, then he disasembled everything andchanged an electrolityc in the headphone pcb, and because he felt it warm changed a +8V regulator in the amp board. but hed put long wires to it and then the keyboard is not working. now i have it, replaced the 8V reg, had to make a small wire bridge on a part of the pcb, and at power up , the display shows all of the pixels dark, also the amp doesnt work if i put audio directly. traced´problems to the 8V+ reg, if i take the conector of the main pcb out , the voltages are ok, but really need the service manual to find out whats wrong , maybe in the main pcb. sorry to bother but any help will be appreciated thanks!
