Making .wav files compatable with the m3...??

When i save a .wav file using sony sound forge and try and open it on my m3 it gives me a "file contains unsupported data" error message. what do i have to do to avoid this? Thanks

probably your wav file has unsupported bitrate :roll:

It might be something to do with the sample rate and format. The M3 accepts WAV files with a 48 KHz sample rate and 16 bit sample size.

Also, i think there is a WAV format supported by Sound Forge that is not the Microsoft Windows WAV format ... it's like Scotts studio or something like that (haven't used that one in years) so watch out for that.
