R3 question - pitch

Post by Hoba »

Hi everybody. I'm interested in buying a synth, and it seems that i'm going to choose the R3. However, I have an important (for me) question that needs an answer.

As we know, this synth has a range of three octaves on its keyboard. My question is: Is it possible to define which C is the lowest one on the keyboard? And I mean if it is possible to define how low (or high) is that note on the pentagram.

Any help/suggestion is welcome!

Thanx in advance.

Yes, and several ways too. On any program you can just hit the Octave Up or Down one or more times for a +/- 3 octave either direction from C0 through C6 on the bottom C key, and the buttons will light with different colors, as described on page 13 of the Owners Manual. You can also change octaves with a foot switch, or set the octave within a program, or tune the pitch of the Oscillators. You can easily generate sounds well below or above your hearing range.
