NanoKontrol remembering button states through scenes

Post by carloskleiber »

Hello,

I' am asking because it seems to me that this was working and isn't anymore:

isn' t a button set to toggle mode supposed to "remember" it' s state, if I navigate away from the scene where it is contained, and then navigate back? Or, differently said, button 1-1 on scene 1 turned red, I make a cycle of the scenes, getting back to scene 1, the button 1-1 lights up again?

Thank you for sharing your experience,

No they don't work like that, when you leave a scene the unit forgets the state of the buttons, poor but what do you expect for the price?

Cheers

Hi folks,

I just bought a nanokontrol and a nanopad for VJ usage.
The lack of scene memory is problem sometimes.
I tried to send CC messages from 0 to 127 to lit up the leds, but with no luck.
Maybe the firmware is updateable and soon we get a new version, where the two needed routines for this functionality are added.
Maybe there is a SysEx message to switch the LEDs from the host application. If you know, how to do it, please post it.

Thank You

Hey Forum,

I just got my nano kontrol yesterday. Works fine, but something makes me wonder: in scene 4 when I press any button, they lit up and don`t stop unless I press again. In all the other scenes, the light only go on for as long as press. Is this normal ?? In the Editor everything seems to be the same.

Many Thanks in Advance,

H
