Radias: Step Sequencer & Layered Sounds

Hi everyone

Just a quick question...

I have 2 timbres and one of them is assigned to the step sequencer. My problem is this, the timbre assigned to the step sequencer takes up 1.5 octaves but I would like to just have it triggered and played from only one key (lowest C).

As it stands at the moment, if I reduce the keyboard range of that timbre to one key (as a trigger) then only one note plays from the step sequencer. If I set the keyboard range to cover all the notes in the step sequencer then those notes are also played when I play timbre 2.

I guess the question is how can I trigger it from only one key and leave the rest of the keyboard free to play only timbre?

in the step sequencer parameter page there are fields for upper and lower key trigger limits.


what I often do is have key transposed sequences and have the bottom octave set up to trigger the step sequencers.
