PCG files

Post by nuke »

OK so I downloaded "PCG Rose 1" from the download section. So the only file I should be concerned with is the .pcg one and that is ALL I should load on to the SD card.

When loading the .pcg into Korg I've read that you can overwrite Korg's factory settings? How do I make sure this doesn't happen?

thank you

On the TR, there aren't any empty combi or program slots, so you *have* to overwrite factory presets. This isn't permanent though; you can fully restore factory settings from the Global menu.

also, once you've tried out the sounds, made notes of the ones you want, reloaded the factory settings, found factory programs you don't want... you can go into the PCG by choosing 'open' like a directory rather than 'utility > load'.

you can go into the program banks, and choose to write only the programs you want, to which ever slots you choose on the synth.
