Is there a way I can trigger the recording of a sample through MIDI?
I see in the editor that I can assign MIDI commands to the A-D buttons, but the SAMPLING button does no seem controllable. I am using a Behringer MIDI foot switch and would like to trigger the recording and playback of samples from it.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Ok you know TracyE people here are really not that rude...I think what Salamanderanagram is trying to say is NO...
But seriously the problem with the KP3 is that the record button did not get Midi mapped for recording.
I have found that I really did not need that extra mapping because once you hit the record/sample button you are not recording or resampling anything YET! You have to hit either the ABC or D button to get the recording to start. So, like in my set up, I want a foot pedal to start recording for me and so I Midi map the "D" button to the foot controller to trigger my stereo recording. So in a sense this method (I call the D Key method) us the best WORK A ROUND for what you are trying to do. Since you have the Behringer you can assign ABC and D to a foot controller and that will trigger recording.
Keep in mind the Sample/record Key DOES NOT trigger recording.
The sample bank buttons ABC and D are the only things that actually triggers recording.
Best of luck to you and don't take Salamanderanagram's hard sense of humor too personal.
