TR-rack data format error

Post by Dean127 »

I'm new to all of this and I really need some help!!!

I have connected my TR rack to my PC using a USB to MIDI adapter and I have Trinitro running on my PC.

I modified a prog file on the PC and sucessfully sent it to the TR-rack ONCE. But now every time I try to do it, I get error messages in Tinitro that say "data format error" and "MIDI EOX expected but not received".

The TR rack displays " MIDI receiving error".

What am I doing wrong??

data transfer error

in global on the rack make sure midi exclusive is still on. sometimes when you load a PCG it has different global settings. thats why it worked once because the PCG you loaded changed the global setting and probably turned off exclusive. :)

data tansfer error

Post by Dean127 »

Thanks spacecowboy.

I don't get an error message when I modify and send 1 program at a time to the TR.
I still get an error message on Trinitro when I try to send an entire program bank, but the TR now seems to accept the changes anyway.

I can live with the way its working now.

Thanks for the help.
