I am having difficulty saving songs to the M3. I have been through the manual and do what it says, but when I turn off the M3 my song is gone.
I am still experimenting, so no biggy, but I would like to figure this out and would appreciate the help. I did a search a few ways on the forum, but was also surprised that I could not find a similar post.
So, I am going to the sequencer and copy a combi. Then I go through the recording process and then save the song to the USB thumb drive. I get the wav file and all is good.
I then save the sequence using the Save Template Song function. It show "S000 New Song" and I change the name and save it to God knows where. Then when I turn off the M3 and reboot it, I cannot find my song.
The book on page 103 has a short paragraph about Save Template Song that is not very descriptive. It does also show that I can save the song to "media", but I thought I could save it as a creation on the M3 in a song directory. It may be that I just cannot find the song. I even attempted to save a seperate song using the same name hoping it would give me a file error and direct me, but no such error.
Hope this make sense. Any help is appreciated.
Any help is appreciated

Re: Newbee Saving Song Help!
All songs need to be saved to external media. When you turn off your M3, they will be lost... so you must reload them each time.Chill Traveler wrote: when I turn off the M3 and reboot it, I cannot find my song.
Keep in mind, there is a difference between saving a song (.sng) and a .wav file. To reload your song into the M3, you need to reload the .sng file.
