Loading New Files Via SmartMedia?

Post by AorphiA »

I've tried to load new files such as the SynThesis and it appears on the screen that it is in the E bank, but when I re-start my LE, and search for the E bank, I cannot locate it.

If I've not loaded the files correctly, can someone please explain the process, step by step and also explain to me how to locate the E bank, so that I can play those sounds?

Thanks :D

THere is no "E" bank on the LE. Only on the Higher end Tritons. Thats one of the drawbacks of the LE. Less banks and less insert effects. It was probably made for a regular triton, pro, studio, extreme or Karma which all have an "E" bank. Is there a way to copy whats in the "E" bank over to another bank using software on the PC? Maybe someone else can answer.

The SynThesis file

Post by AorphiA »

I actually downloaded the SynThesis file from the Triton LE download section in the support section of the official Korg website. But, it shows that it is to be placed in the E bank. Did Korg make a mistake in assuming that the Triton LE does have an E bank section and/or where is this file actually suppose to be loaded in the Triton LE?

Thanks :D

Do you have the link from where you downloaded it? I can seem to find it where you said it came from to try it.

If you navigate to it inside the PCG ('open' instead of 'utility > load' the PCG), you can go inside the PCG and load individual programs and combis to any slot you want.

Click on the download section and within that frame of contents, scroll all the way to the bottom and you will find the Syn_Thesis.exe file

A while back, I believe it was through the Korg Forums, they also had a download section, but I can't seem to locate it now.
