microkorg xl tuning help?

i just bought a microkorg xl & while i was playing an arpeggiator part i decided to play along with strings from my TR, the chords did not match, the microkorg seems to be tuned incorrectly, i.e playing an "A" is actually a "B"... i'd appreciate any ideas .
