Vocoder R3 How To make Less metalic and more Crispy Vocoder

Hello Guys Hope somebody can help me

im trying on my R3 to make A good vocoder sound but when i record is coming very metalic sound i want more life sound more crispy

how can i make it??

And another thing do u now why when i record the vocoder

is souding a little bit like white noize ?
