Hi all
I'm getting into synthesizers for the first time could any of you review my purchase plan for home use and offer better solutions if their are any. I have a low budget to start with around £300 but will spend around £1300 in the future. I already have a high spec PC with a intel Core i7 & X-Fi titanium sound card. I'm into Vangelis, Jean Michel Jarre, trance music . I'm really just into the futuristic synth sounds found in trance music and music in space games. Watching Blade Runner really sold me.
The Korg Radias impressed me the most in Youtube videos also looking at the M50 as I'm not sure if the Radias has the functions to put a complete song together but will learn first with the gear below and then save for a Korg. I've had a play around with FL studio but the sounds don't sound as professional as a Radias or M50 so still searching for other software.
For now I will get
M-Audio Oxygen 61 61-note USB / MIDI Keyboard
FL Studio with Sytrus plugin
Are there better software then FL Studio?
Would the Radias or M50 work with FL Studio?
Whch is best for my needs Radias or the M50?
thanks
Which best setup for my budget?

Take a look at softsynths from Native instruments like Massive, Absynth, FM8, etc. that do great pads. For DAW software, look at Ableton Live with the Akai APC40 or Novation launchpad. Also check out NI Maschine.
I suggest that you spend a lot of time looking and trying, and then wait to buy until you really have a good idea of what will work for you. I would avoid recommending hardware synths for you based on your budget, your existing investment in computer hardware, and your stated goals.
