workstations cheaper than TR for sampling

Post by pimpshady »

I'm so happy to know that Korg TR support samples. But my question is:
Is there any other workstation or sampler keyboard that is slightly below the price of Korg TR that support samples or in otherwords do sampling.

Keep in mind that this isn't really a workstation. You're not going to find anything with the power of the TR for cheaper (other than, possibly the Triton LE; I think it might also support the EXB-SMPL that the TR does). You can get straight-up samplers that are cheaper, but nothing that can really be called a workstation.
Keyboard Rig: Korg Kronos, Moog Sub 37, Waldorf Blofeld Module, Neo Instruments Ventilator II, Moog MiniFooger Delay, Strymon BigSky, Roland KC-150, Mackie 802-VLZ4 Mixer

Do you mean that Triton LE is cheaper than TR.

The Le was the older version of the TR basically, so yes because its older and more than likely used at this point if you find one. Try ebay.

Knowing that TR is the new version of Triton LE gives me more confident. Because Triton LE is my dream key and I've always wanted, and now I can actually have a better version of Triton LE.

Anyway thanks navydave, for your help.

God Bless!
