Micro X arpeggiator problems in multi-mode

Post by GunsOfNavarone »

I've been racking my brain the past week trying to get the arps to work in multi-mode with my MPC1000. I'm using the MPC as the master/sequencer, and the Micro X as a multi-timbrel sound module. I've been through the manual many times and set the Global Settings on the Micro X to run on EXT clock, but no matter what changes I make on all the settings, I can never get this to work, any suggestions?

Micro X arpeggiator problems in multi-mode

Post by K-Type »

As far as I unterstood, when using a MULTI in Micro-X we can only choose 2 types of ARPs (called A and B) for the MULTI set (16 tracks) created. So for each track it's possible to assign ARP A or B, none of them or both. The trick is choosing carefully the ARPs and managing these 4 assigning options to get the most of the MULTI set.
