Problems with LFO

Post by cm-fan »

I'm quite new to synths, and I'm trying to create a kind of robottalk-sound. I adjust the cut-off freq on the filter and the frequensy of the LFO, and when I'm holding down a key it works fine. The problem is that the LFO only activates when I'm pressing down the key, so when I play it doesn't affect the tone, unless I'm holding down the key for a while. Is there anyway to set the LFO so it's fading constantly, independently on wheter I'm pressing down the key or not.

You should try changing the controllers for the desired parameter.
You also should take notice of the LFO's Envelope Generator (EG) as it can help you in making desired effect. Edit the curves to your liking.
