Pa500 making styles from .WAV loops - Time slice - sampling

Hi,

I want to load a .WAV loop into sampling mode, Slice it, write it , and then exiting the sampling mode, going into styles record and, import and make a style.

Everything works fine with my pa800 as now I am asking about pa500, procedure should be the same BUT;

1- When I press Sound button, it takes me to the SOUND labled screen
2- Now, when I press "Record" button" nothing happens further. I think here it should have taken me to sampling mode but it didnt with pa500 while it does take me to sampling mode when I press Sound then Record button with pa800.

There's no sampling capabilities on PA 500 as far as I know!
