Problems interfacing w/ Mac software
I am unsure why but I keep getting an error message when using the MS librarian software. When I try to receive current bank it will tell me to stop all applications using midi. Well I have tried having no applications running and it still says this. I also can not recognize it in the Audio Midi settings page like it says in the trouble shooting section of the manual. I will try anything. Any suggestions would be helpful.

I had the same problem. Please try to 1. set the "midi clk" parameter to "auto" and 2. set the "midirout" parameter to "usb" (both in the global menu). I don´t know if that´s everything you can do, but it solved the problem for me. If that doesn´t help, try to disconnect any external audio interface that might act as a midi port and retry.

Thank you that worked just fine. I am not sure exactly what made it work but I did everything you said including removing my audio interface from my system (even though it does not have a midi port on it). At first it still would not recognize the MS, I then had to restart my computer and after that I could "receive current bank", and in my trouble shooting before hand I had already tried restarting when ever I installed the usb driver and after that as well. I am leaving this info so maybe it will help someone else. Thanks again, I was starting to wonder if I was going to have to take it back.
