The secret to merging parts of sets is simply to "drill down" to the parts you want by choosing Open rather than Load.
If there are sample sounds involved you will need to start with PCM not loaded - ie Ram cleared (either by unticking Auto Load, saving global preferences and re-starting your keyboard or by going into Sound Mode, Record and delete all multisamples.)
If you want to keep all parts of your current set then just open the parts of your new set and save it under a new name. (Once you have saved a set it automatically becomes the default start-up set.)
So its something like: Disk, Load, Find the set name, Open(the elements you want eg sound/style) Open, Open, Load, Check its working to your satisfaction, Disk, Save. (And maybe change your Global pref back to PCM Auto Load).
Do a backup before trying anything.
Best,
John
