Thanks for the advice though.
Are you disabling your wireless card each time? If so, you'll see the locking code keeps alternating between two versions. One when your card is enabled and another one your card is disabled. Your authorizer is detecting a change in your hardware profile and changing the locking code which is why it thinks you need to re-authorize. The license code you authorized with previously was based on a different locking code.
Hi MonoPolyMan,
thanks very much for the tip but I'm not sure it can be that.
I run an Open Labs Neko and a custom built laptop and neither have wireless connectivity (only cabled). So I'm just disabling the connection via control panel/Network connections.
Would this still cause cause it to think there is a hardware change?
Thanks for your help.
UPDATE:
Your right you know. Just did a test by enabling the connection and it doesn't ask for authorisation again. That's insane! Please sort this out Korg! Why does it ask for a new auth code when I turn the network off and then not when I turn it back on! I can't go to gigs with it like this.
UPDATE 2:
Thanks you guys. You got me thinking (not as rare as it might seem) and I just authorised the plug ins using another computer so I can leave the network off on the DAWS. Works fine (so far). Panic over - thanks again.

The only way Korg will know about this and potentially fix it is if you contact Korg Tech Support with your problem. An issue like this has to go through the proper Korg support channels all the way back to the development team (which I assume is Korg Japan).
Perhaps it stores all hardware configurations it has encountered on the same machine and only asks for authorisation when it encounters a new configuration?

If it were working right, then the activation code shouldn't work if the program is detecting a hardware change significant enough to cause the authorisation menu to pop up.
I never had my Legacy working when I changed from PC to Mac years ago (spent hours trying!!! But news of a registration instead of the key gave me hope that my frustations were coming to a halt. And yes, it's works, only as a 30 day trial though.
When I register with the registration code I was given after logging on and doing it all by the book, it just says invalid license code. Anybody knows anything? I must say I'm fed up with these problems, having bought something that doesn't work. I wouldn't buy another Korg if this is their way of treating customers. And where can you go for any help if it doesn't work? Are there other places than this forum?

does anyone have any ideas where i can find my serial number without original packaging? i know they say go to the dealer you purchased this at...
i got my copy for free from a studio i worked at...probably threw out all original packaging within 5 minutes of opening it.
guess my other option is to grab the current usb licensing installer and keep that aside for after they make the switch...?
can anyone tell me the correct version of the installer i would need to put aside to continue using the usb protection? thanks appreciate your help mike

Contact your Korg Country Distributor, who is responsible for ALL support for Korg Products (hardware and software) in your country.
They should be able to look up your information in the Korg User net database.
