load user drum kit(with sample) from sets

Post by garabed02 »

Hi again to all

I am here with another problem. I would like to know if its possible to load only a drumkit(with samples) from a set to import in other set? For example, I have my set, and I liked a drum kit in other set and I want to save this drumkit (which contains samples) to import in my set.
I am trying to combine 2 different set. I know when you go do load sounds, and load user sound, it import the sound and its multisample, and I thought I could do that with drumkit too, but I may missed a state.

Thanks in advance

yes it is posible just make sure that you re-save again the drums kit because if you dont re-save it wont pick up any sample I did try that before and it is working just make sure that you know how to load a single sounds or single drums kit..

Hi paul

First, thanks for your answer.
I didnt understand by re saving, I have already done that.
I know how to enter in the set to load single sound or user drumkit, but what is strange is that the single sound loading is okay, and drumkit, it loads me only the mapping, not the sample, so how I can re save? I have to re save only the drum kit? I did that yesterday, but no chance :(, I am surely missing one thing because I remember already doing that so many times before. What korg do you own?

Hello Garabed..

I own the Pa80 and Pa800...

when I was telling you to re-save the drum kit it is just make sure you press SOUND and select the drum kit that you want and see if you can hear all the samples that you are using in that drum kit and then save it ...... and then remember that you need to save only the PCM and SOUNDS nothing else ... and then if you cant load any single drum kit or and single sound there is a problem with the samples of that specific sound or drum kit ..... in that case what you need to do it is load again all the samples ( one by one ) and make it again and save it and should work .... I had the sam problem when I transfer all my sounds and drum's kit from my Pa80 and it is so difficult because the Pa software converter it has a problem so that why I experience all this problems ......

I hope you can get resolve your problem with the drum kit just follow what I'm telling you for sure will be fine...

Hi paulbelleza

I did what you said, and it works... Perfectly!!! Thanks my friend :), I was desperate about that, searching for 2 days. I understand now what It didnt worked, because I didnt save the drumkit in the user sound, but I saved it only in a new set, not rewrite the drumkit one by one like you said.

Again thank you

God bless you
