Hi there,
I'm having troubles on both M3 and X50. I'd like to prevent the sound from being cut when I change Combi.
For example, I'm playing and maintaining a string harmony on Combi-A, and when I switch to Combi-B, the sound is cut.
What I want is the M3 to memorize the sound or harmony I was playing on previous combi when I maintain it, and, when I release it and then play the keys again I want the sound from Combi-B to be played, but remember that I've already switched to Combi-B before (is it ok so far ?).
Maybe there's something to be set up in midi channels.
Many thanks for your help !

Can't be done with combis. It can be done in sequencer mode, though there is a tradeoff involved in doing so. Search the forums to find out how; it's been posted here before (not necessarily for the M3, but the way of doing it is the same)
Keyboard Rig: Korg Kronos, Moog Sub 37, Waldorf Blofeld Module, Neo Instruments Ventilator II, Moog MiniFooger Delay, Strymon BigSky, Roland KC-150, Mackie 802-VLZ4 Mixer
It can be done using Karma. Go to Stephen Kay's wiki and read up on it. I use it live all the time. You can use the scene buttons to change seamlessly without cutoff of sound. You just can't exceed 16 programs in a combi. Really though, most combis use three four programs maybe five if splits are involved. Using Karma for program or combi changes is the ONLY thing I use Karma for. I can't believe Korg doesn't expand this technique using Karma making the M3 a more user friendly live board because everyone knows using the program/combi buttons are far too slow for live playing.
Oh, here's my topic again
Well i had a look to those different methods, but it would be great if I could manage all of it with footswitches. Pressing a button while playing live is a bit anoying as I usually play with both hands.
I've assigned Program Up to the footswitch to change combi while playing live. I miss another FS to assign AMS or Karma...
Anyway I think I can use these methods for the moment. Karma seems to be the more reliable one isn't it ?
Thanks a lot for your help
