transposing Midi's

Post by Paula »

I find this strange........ In Global I have checked transpose sequencer 1 & 2
in real time. I have a few MIDI's I do so I transpose them in the songbook and all works well until I write another style to the song book. Then those midi's will not transpose until I shut down and restart the KB, then they are fine until I write another song into the songbook. When I EQ the seq. I also
save in the transpose mode. Why is this happening?

Happy New Year to All

Hi Paula, happy new year to you. I don't use midi files for performance however I've loaded one to my songbook and transposed. Turned off the keyboard and back on again and into Songbook and my Midi is still transposed. I'm wondering if your problem is simply a 'lock' that needs to be changed in Global - General Controls - Lock Tab. Try Uncheck Style Performance - Master Transpose if locked and save to Global then try again. :)
