Saving arpegiattor settings on Triton LE

Post by Liquid Len »

I don't find the arpeggiator pattern settings are saving per combi patch. Is this the way it is designed to work? When I turn on the triton, they are always set back to the first patch (P000:UP).

I'm sorry, I hope no one was offended by this question. I'm surprised no one answered - tying arpeggio settings to a patch would be kind of crucial to me (but that's just me). Am I right that the arpeggio is meant to be played live and cannot be preset per combi patch? Is there a place to lock arpeggiator settings so the patches can't change them, and I accidently enabled it?

Normally an arpeggiator pattern is specific to a patch.

I'm not sure what is wrong at this point. I saw your post and thought to check, but haven't got around to it. now you're brought it back up i'll have a look if no-one else has an answer.

It will probably be some kind of setting in global mode. but each program and combi should have its own Arp settings.

Mine also works just fine.

The way Len described it, it sounds like he didn't save his combi/program after selecting the ARP :)

In GLOBAL mode, first page you see, settings for Auto Arp.
these set independently for Program and Combi mode, whether the arp settings are loaded from the program/combi when loading/switching to it.

You must have turned these off. Turn them back on and it will load the Arp settings for each program and combi when you select them.

also make sure you Write to save your changes to global settings for them to remain after power-off, just like when you are editing a program or combi.
