Will Korg offer new colors to old users

Post by bestalbum »

Hey Korg,

Love my M50, but I sure would like to exchange my plain black casing with a shiny RED one (saw one in Guitar Center). Any chance of you all offering a special deal to M50 owners who want to change the color of their beloved workstation? :( Please, that would be so cool! :verycool:

I wouldn't expect any kind of deal. Why would Korg give out new machines in exchange for used ones just because they've now released colored models?

Maybe a paint shop could unmount the top shell and paint it any color you want. Painting it in place simply won't work.

There's of course a risk that the thickness of the paint will make keys stick to the sides of the holes, and it will for sure void the warranty.

Cheers

M50 colors

Post by sixtoeightfeet »

I saw pictures of some of the "color" m50's and thought they were cool. However, for me, the sleek, black appearance of the standard M50 is a real "plus." Black always looks professional and never goes out of style.
Keep lookin' 'round the bend.
