Best amp for M50?

Hi

I was wondering what is the best amp for gigging and connecting my M50 to under 200/250 pounds?

I basically need 2 or 3 channels: an mp3 input for backing tracks, input for KP3 and input for M50. It needs to be miked up, with or without DI box and needs outputs to connect to the venue's sound desk

really what you want is a seperate mixer and stage amplifier.

so you and your bandmates can hear you on stage. You have a small submixer which allows you to route and control the level and pan of signals from your mp3, KP3, and M50, and then you send an output line from the mixer to the FOH desk for PA to the audience too.


Personally when I've gigged before there have always been stage monitors too so I've never actually bought my amp to a gig, and there's a PA in each of the rooms at the practise studios we use. So when I'm playing live I use earphones to hear myself and has the added advantage that I can solo something on the desk to check something without it affecting the actual outputs. my bandmates hear me through the stage monitoring system.

So i suppose really it depends what you want to do, but I think definately a mixer and small or stage keyboard (clean - definitely not guitar or bass amp, unless you're not bothered about the quality of what you hear at all) amp will help.
