Place to share and download Prgs, and Combis

Post by kontroller4938 »

Hi, My name is Tony, and I am a new proud owner of an M50 61. I plan to create some really advanced, unique Programs and Combi's for the M50 to share with you all, but aside from this forum I don't know a sharing site. I would love to be able to find out a site that host's downloads for the M50

Most of my experience programming came from when I owned the Korg Wavestation EX and its very complicated interface so with the M50 I should do well.

Later and feel free to check out my myspace page below and hear some stuff I did with Korg Gear.

You´re generous for sharing your PCG files, and the site that kikedeolivos pointed is the place where there has to be, but it has a disadvantage: its update period is not short. I´m not going to regret to the administrator for updates, because everybody´s time is gold, and these activities are made for free, so I´ll never criticise them.

I just only ask: is there an alternative upload site to share or enjoy our PCGs quickly?

I suggest to not only offer your programs and combis as a .PCG, but also in the format that the M50 editor uses (ie .M50program .M50combi...).

Those files are much smaller, and using the M50 editor you can easily choose in which program/combi bank and number you store them.

I haven't found a way to load a single program from a PCG using the M50 editor. So users that don't have an SD card always need to load a complete PCG (most likely overwriting their existing programs and combis).

On a side note:
I already created such files for the Kike Hammond program and combis (created by kikedeolivos) and offered to send them to him (yes kike! you should have received a pm from me)...

This site isn't updated, so there is no need to try to upload files. I uploaded my files about 2 months ago. I've tried to get in touch with the moderators without luck. So if someone can put up an external site, I'm happy to share my sounds :-)
