Triton Sequencer to mp3?

Post by wolferl3.1 »

Is it possible to save your sequence data as mp3? I mean can i save the sequenced data as background to any voice(song) data?

No. Sequenced data isn't audio.

To achieve what you want, record your Triton's audio into your PC or a stand-alone digital recorder, save that as a .wav file, then convert that file to mp3.

what kind of gadgets should I have?

Is it the 8-Channel analog to digital interface or 8-Channel digital to analog interface that you're talking about?
880 D/A & 880 A/D in particular?

Is the Korg Audio gallery for PC related with this?

I'm using windows 7, does the midi driver from korg support the pc to host connection?

Recording your audio just plug your left and right outs to a CD recorder or Multi-Track Recorder. You are not going to be able to separate your parts so be sure and EQ before recording. Then turn your .wav to .mp3 on PC. After that you can transfer to iPod or anything else.

MIDI isn't audio.

You can also connect your keyboard to your computer's sound card, or, for better results, get a decent audio interface that at least has two mono inputs so you can record the keyboard in stereo.
