i4S Backing sequences

Post by csian »

Hi guys.

My i4S floppy disk drive has gone and I cannot repair anymore. I would like to know if I can extract my backing sequence I wrote in my internal HD, without passing through the broken floppy disk drive. How? Do I need a particolar midi cable with a pc?
Please help me: I cannot lose that sequences. Unfortunately I haven't got a backup of those.

Thanks a lot.

Hello,

Your i4S floppy disk drive has gone like me. You can repair it here : http://www.floppydrivesolutions.com/

You can also change the floppy belt (it's generally the problem...)

Editing a backing sequence is very hard -> Midi dump in sysex across an external midi sequencer.

Christophe.
