Drum machine

Hey guys,

I am on the quest for a budget drum machine for under $500. Does anyone know of any good ones? I would preferably like the genre to be techno/electronic. I looked at the Korg ESX-1 but it looks like it does synth and drum parts and I think that would be overkill (I already have a MicroKorg XL).

What's wrong with overkill? I have no less than 4 sources of drums in my set-up (EMX, RM1x, Triton and PC/Logic. Why not get a box that can do drums and has other capabilities?
