Have you contacted your nearest authorized service center yet? What you're describing sounds as though it may be a hardware problem. If you are in the U.S., you can find your nearest authorized service center at www.korg.com/support. For other countries, you'll want to consult your local Korg distributor as per the link in our signature below.0032 wrote:funny you ask now.
It resolved itself and has worked, but now it is doing it again.
No idea. Ready to junk it and get a real mixer thats actually supported by the manufacturer.
Best regards,

Trust me I feel your pain. I hope you don't mind if I inject some of my current experiences with my zero4 mixer.
I've had to repair an FX fader, then lost firewire/audio twice. Both two separate repairs, back to back. Key point, seperate repairs voiding the last repair warranty as its a seperate issue.
The first repiar was a replaced main board, $350. This was done in Edmonton, AB @ Electronic Analyst. This is a representative of Korg, which is called Jam Industries in Canada.
The second repair I was told they had to "reflow" the solder. I haven't been told where and on which board This essentially means that they claim the componets have lifted off the board and needing to have their solder connections re-heated so the component will sit flat and make a proper connection to a pad on the board. As far as I know this is the rarest thing for electronics to do, I am an electronics technician.
After 4 months of waiting for the 2nd repair, I have an E001 error flashing causing everything to not function. I sent this mixer back to the rep and was told it was not warranty because it was a seperate issue. They couldn't repair it and are sending to Jam Industries. Imagine sending your mixer back twice, only for the second repair to be un-usable upon the first use and from there out. So I put a call into tech support and no one can even tell you what the error is. Instead, have you installed the latest firmware? Oh ya if you would even bother to QA the product properly or I could only get the mixer to not flash an error that you or no one knows about.
Now whats the point of another repair? We promise it will late three months and we repair it..
I have all the receipts to prove all this, plus a video of the E001 flashing error that emits an insanely horrible HUMMING noise.
