Problem with Radias Editor/Librarian software

Post by JoshuaCJones »

I don't know if any of you have had this problem, but when trying to open a file (both library and programme) in the Radias editor/librarian software in Vista no icons will be displayed in the explorer window. You can still open the files, but you have to type the names in manually.
I used to have an R3 and I also had the software for that, but that worked just fine.

How to fix?

I have the same problem. I downloaded the 64 bit version for Vista, and have to keep an explorer window open to see the filenames. Any patches for this, Jerry?

A bit of late reply but. I just got the same problem after a clean win 7 64 bit install.

It looks like there is no content in the folder. If i right-click and refresh (or F5) it seems to reveal the folder contents.... weird

I got in touch with the technical support at KORG, they told me to check whether the E/L software version number was the same as KORG Radias firmware version.

They were not. The Radias had firmware v.2.0 on it, and I had E/L software was v1.0.

I installed version E/L software v2.0 and all the problems were fixed. I can now simply open the files by clicking on their icons, as one would expect :D
