Best way to transfer sequences on LE..

Post by Cskidgel »

Someone please help me!! All I want to do is take midi sequencers that I got on the Internet and put then into my my triton LE. I have the media card that has worked to save sequences. I bought a reader that this card fits in and I can't seem to get it seen in my computer. Maybe the reader isn't reading it? Or seeing it? Is there a specific reader that I need to use? Argh, I thought this was going to be simple....

Take smf files from inernet and drag and drop to your SM card. Then run thru the Triton (Set to GM Mode) in seq .Then save as sng file.

Smart Media card format is old, and not all readers support it anymore. Check you reader specs and make sure it reads Smart Media cards.

If your card fits the slot in the reader , the computer ought to see it. I'm not trying to be silly, but you're sure the card is in the slot securely - not upside down (which wouldn't fit anyway!!!) read/write protector adjusted?
