KP3 - Looper Type - Type1? Type2?

In the global settings of the KP3 editor there is a parameter under Global called "Looper Type". I can't find documentation for this parameter anywhere and I can't figure out what it does.

The options are Type 1 and Type 2.

Anyone?

you can read about types on the pdf supplied with the Updater for KP3.

on the updater zip there is a folder \manual and there is what you are seeking.
