Custom M50 Patches of the 1,077 Multisamples?

Post by Composer »

...like custom Drum Kits with Drumsamples? ...to assign any number of m50 1,077 multisamples to any of the keys for a Custom Patch/Program to assign to a USER Combi? Program edit for more than one Sound assigned to each key, like custom Drum Kits? Please reply under this message as soon as possible. Thank you.

...my yamaha motif 6 original with 1,309 waves/multisamples

Post by Composer »

...of drums AND all other sounds in the same wave file! ...yes, custom drum kits with any of the 1,309 waves, and more than one for each key! The multisamples are THE Best: Steinway and Bosendorfer, Stradivarius and other classic String instrument Models, and much more! ...the multieffects, kurzweil: Canyon Reverb. and others bigger than the hall settings! ...the 4 USER Voice per USER Performance is much too limited... with only up to 4 uncontrollable slightly shifting/sliding waves for each USER Voice... yuck! ...and, the 6 to 6-1/2 minute sampling Time limit is not savable... only the Voices and Performances, Sequences/Songs and Multieffects are saved/stored: You can not sample up to the less than 6-1/2 minutes, save your sample data, and sample, multisample, resample more Sounds into the yamaha motif original sampler! I LOVE my korg m50! I composed a Combi with 15 Programs, and would like to assign the multisamples of some of the Percussion and Sound Effects Programs into a Custom Program! If not, I will use less musical Instrument and Voice Programs to use more Percussion Programs in the same USER Combi! The korg m50 2 OSC custom Program option with up to 4 Sounds each in a layer is like the yamaha motif original USER Voices of up to 4 waves! The korg m50 Combi audio levels of Programs allows for the most precise, most natural cross mixes AND blends of Sounds! No uncontrollable slight shifting/sliding of the korg m50 Sounds!

I'm not sure what you're asking because there aren't actually any questions phrased. And the rest is a mess. Use the Enter/Return key to add new lines to make paragraphs!

You can't sample on the M50 at all.

A multisample has only one layer - programs can layer two or if you experiment maybe four sounds at once, and you can velocity switch and crossfade. Even if you could make your own multisample, you couldn't layer more than one sound without actually sampling a multilayered sound into one sample, which you can't do anyway.

Combis are designed for layering up multiple sounds for a performance.

You can also make your own drum kits in global mode, using the single shot samples in the M50.
A drum kit can then be used as the basis of a program, adding arpeggiator, effects, etc. Just like you would when starting with a multisample.

Dude, my entries speak for themselves, most clearly!

...your reply is not phrased as questions in paragraphs, either. We are neither playing "'sem''antics'", nor English Composition 101... We are into Written Communication and Logic, not to twist words and phrases out of context, and not to strip words of phrases of figurative and literal meaning to literal tranlations of original, simple meanings of letters, words, and phrases... for arithmetic operations, "functions" of calculus to measure rates of changes with Physics to strip meaning, we are into Logic for Computer Programming, Logic of Computer Programming Languages beyond ""Bina'ary"... like beyond plane geometry to solid geometric, X,Y AND X, Y, and Z of the Cartesian coordinate systems for productivity, and for productive work flow operations. I am proud of my life-long continued success with suggestions to big businesses, most R & D engineers are too afraid to innovate and invent because other R & D engineers of their companies and others will file false copyright claims of infringement... but, during a Convention or Trade Show, you can make suggestions... online with full references to product innovations and closed Trade Shows, too, and to manufacturers who appreciate feedback with suggestions for product improvements and suggestions for new products! You guys are going out, by your own sadistic, hypocritical violations ...and Time limit! Ironic, to say the least! I did not enter my questions to stump you guys... you are stumped! ...seriously, like I said, the korg m50 is one of THE Best Of The Best Keyboard Workstations, by far! ...my Best to you guys for your future success! ...as for your access virus... oh, a plucked plastic rubber band sound! ...you can do better with yamaha pro keyboard workstations and the korg keyboard workstations! ...yet I never did mention my korg m50 features an onboard sampler, because I know it does not. My yamaha motif original features the 6 to 6-1/2 minute onbaord sampler I wrote about. Maybe you guys really do require Reading Comprehension instuction for Communications, especially for R & D and any and all other professional parlance! Eric's spectrasonics omnisphere is much more advanced! I wrote to Eric and suggested he include his versions of "Combis" in multi Combis, to join and separate with dynamic control, like velocity switching, layers... better quality "Combis" from Eric than your standard "Combis", with more exciting layers, switching than Tranceference Synths of New Versions of THE Vintage Synth Sounds AND layers/switches of vintage guitar models! ...listen to the demos of the spectrasonics symphony of voices, and watch Eric's omnisphere demos on youtube! ...and read the 4,222 omnisphere sound list of "patches" for switches/layers!

Replies don't necessarily need to ask questions.

I'm sure there are many people here who can help you. None of them, myself included, want to make sense of the garbled mess you've posted.

I strongly suggest you read the link in my signature about how to ask questions, and come back again and attempt to make your question clear, concise, and easy to read. I, for one, have no desire to take my time and volunteer my expertise to you if you won't take the time to make your actual question clear and obvious.

You should get banned for these incomprehensively written posts. At least warned. This is no way to talk on internet forums. Your posts are a mess to read, so I guess nobody will ever bother to help you.

Make some sense in your writing.

...as to why there is no question why you guys are pissed: you dropped the ball, cut too many corners, and got caught! The m50 should allow one to assign any Sounds to any of the keys! I'll continue to program at my level, work around your limitations with software, samplers, for multi Combis... curb your angry words, you are no threat to me. I am a Son and Nephew of US DoD Adminstrative Personnel, attacking us, even the threat, is worse than attacking a cop's kid, because THE Defense Team of the U.S.A. does not miss. If you don't like us because you, like most people with no honour, hypocritical honour at best, are caught up in a game you can't win like no retirement, no benefits, not even basic social services because you gave your rights away when you went in the opposite direction thinking criminal corruption was your only option, thinking you were too cool to live like civilized human beings... you guys are going out, by your own hypocrisy and angry ignorance... El Nino? HAARP? Earthquakes during 2010... everywhere, mostly islands and places on coastlines, you morons smuggled embezzled U.S. Federal funds offshore... quite the surprise... can you say Nuclear Torpedo? We can easily print more money, or stop circulating Money and impose Martial Law, Rations, Curfews... Restart the Draft... woith many other options for the same effects. Most countries kill people for smuggling money out of their countries...you guys really are going out, whether you look at it as Biblical or from any other point of view. ..."Good Luck"!

This is an unofficial, user run form. As it says at the top of every page:

And you keep refering to mapping sounds to the keys. I admit it would kinda make sense to be able to still make multisamples out of the built in ROM samples, but you can't. So get over it.

You can however map a large variety of sounds across the keys using drum programs. You can program your own drum mappings - selecting samples, pitch, panning, level, effects send, etc for each part, by creating your own drum maps in global mode.

You can then use these as the basis of a program, as I already mentioned in my first post. That was the only real issue you have that I could make sense of from your posts. I was trying to help, getting carried away with accusations and nonsense isn't going to help anyone. And the rest of it, talk about getting carried away!?

I have nothing else to say here.

 Wow is this dude serious...? Seems to me he's rather intelligent and if he spent half as much time at music crafting or something to that effect as he does as trying to be some linguistical wonder tard, perhaps he'd get the ghost out of his machine...oh thats right! It's not the machine.
