What exactly do you mean by "section"? Brass sounds? Or a series of notes that is typically for brass instruments?

As to the sounds: there are a lot of excellent brass sounds in bank U-E.
As to the note series: I searched for "Brass" in the VoiceList , section KARMA GEs, and there are a lot of GEs that seem to be dedicated to brass instruments:
337 Brass Riff 01, 338 Brass Riff 02, 339 Brass Riff 03, 460 Brass Riff 04,
461 Brass Riff 05, 462 Brass Riff 06, 667 Brass Riff 07, 668 Brass Riff 08,
669 Brass Riff 09, 670 Brass Riff 10, 809 Brass Riff 11, 810 Brass Riff 12,
811 Brass Riff 13, 671 BrassRit 1, 672 BrassRit 2, 673 BrassRit 3,
674 BrassRit 4, 812 BrassRit 5, 813 BrassRit 6, 814 BrassRit 7,
167 Brass Phrase, 244 Brass March, 340 Brass Stabber, 666 Brass Ens 1,
808 Brass Ens 2, 463 Brass-Gliss Up, 815 Burnin' Brass, 492 F.Horn Riff 1,
697 F.Horn Riff 3, 698 F.Horn Riff 3, 699 F.Horn Riff 4

Just check it out and let us know which "program/GE" pairings sound good.

orpheus... what version of OS are you using?

Have you installed Expanded version 2.0 or higher?
Are you using the PCM USB expansion?

Either you build your own combination (see http://karma-lab.wikidot.com/korg-m3:cr ... irst-combi for more info on how to create your own combi), or maybe one of the combis in bank U-E fits your needs?

What don't you like about it?

Then we might be able to give you pointers as to how to improve it. Because otherwise it sounds fine to me.

You must be able to describe what you don't like about the sound, or else there's not so much help available there. You can always try putting some other brass samples inside your M3, but even that is not a perfect solution as it will require programming effort after you load the samples. So, if you can't describe what's wrong with current brass samples in the M3, there's not much help that can be offered to you.

Wrong.

OP = Opening Post (the starting post)
TS = Topic Starter (the one who started the topic)
